The analysis of Estelle's video will be separated into 4 sections: Mise En Scene, Editing, Camera, and Sound.
Editing: The video stays in black and white throughout the whole song, which gives it a very minimalist theme. There aren't many special effects such as slow mo etc, apart from writing of the Artists and the song, and a flash at around 0:10 seconds. We also see another piece of editing at around 1:13, which then frequents itself throughout the video.
^Flash^
^Shadow out of sync with the artist^
Sound: The music is mainly the sound track of the song.
Camera: The camera starts with a full body shot of the artist sitting down, it then moves downwards The subsequent shots go between full body shots, medium close ups, and close ups of the artist or the artists.
MES: The artist is obviously strongly prominent within her own video. The costumes of the artist and the people within the video are very high class and sophisticated with some cases, and very casual in others.
